Project 1: Parametric Building Modeling - Case Study A parametric office building A parametric "wave" façade on the exterior walls I began by modeling a conceptual mass of an office building surrounding a courtyard. The building was modeled in several different pieces which were then parametrically constrained together to move as one. Various parameters were added so that multiple building aspects could be changed such as the width of the courtyard, the length of the courtyard, the width of the actual building and the height. The first was a “wave” pattern created using a curved line. Points were added to the line and then the work plane was set to those points to add ellipses which were used
